 FS2004 Ala Littoria C.R.D.A. Cant.Z.506A / C. Developed from a design of Ing. Zappata, the first prototype of this entirely wooden construction seaplane, flown by test pilot Stoppani, did its maiden flight, powered by three American made Wright Cyclone, in August 1936 and gained immediately eight world records in speed and two in altitude in the seaplane category. Successive versions, powered by three Alfa Romeo 126 RC10 (later RC34), gained another 16 world records. These airplanes (A or C) were intended for commercial transport of 12/14 passengers, 25 of them were employed by 'Ala Littoria' Company on Mediterranean routes, the Royal Italian Air Force bought another 13 similar aircraft. During WWII all the civilian aircraft, aquired by Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force), were used in communication and SAR roles. Complete aircraft.   The MS.760 was a French Armee de l'Air (Air Force) trainer aircraft built by Morane-Saulnier. After World War II, France was in need of a Jet trainer. Defeated in the 1953 French Navy fs contest by the Fouga Magister, the MS.755 Fleuret was resurrected as the MS.760 Paris IR (designed by Rene Gauthier), a four-seat military high-speed communications aircraft and advanced trainer. It was used extensively by the French, Dutch and other European military between 1959 and 1997.  FS2004 BAC Strikemaster Mk. 82A (Jet Provost) G-SOAF. This repaint represents Strikemaster G-SOAF/425 which was the last Strikemaster and was originally destined for Sudan before an arms embargo stopped the shipment of ten Strikemasters after three had been delivered. In 1984 the Sultan of Omans Air Force lost a Strikemaster due to an accident and ordered a replacement from BAe. 425 was ferried to Oman in 1986 and it served with 1 Sqn at RAFO Masirah alongside other SOAF Strikemasters. 425 left service in 1999 and was acquired by North Wales Military Aviation Services in 2004.   The high wing GA8 Airvan was specifically designed to fill the gap between the Cessna 206 and the Cessna Caravan. Developed to handle the gruelling conditions of the Australian landscape, the Airvan is ideal for operators in remote areas faced with rugged terrain and basic conditions. In particular, the Airvan is capable of operating on short bush airstrips illustrated by its ability to take off to clear a height of 50ft in only 550 metres (1800 ft) at a gross weight of 1,814kg or 4,000lbs with a landing distance of 370 metres (1200) over the same height.   FS2004 MiG-31 Firefox FULL PACKAGE UPGRADE A few months ago I decided to take up aircraft design so I purchased FSDSv2 and began to learn. Being a major fan of the 1982 movie Firefox, starring Clint Eastwood, I decided that my first attempt at an aircraft for FS2002/2004 would be the MiG-31. I was given an older model of the Firefox from Richard Hulme, and my intention was to basically "touch it up" a bit, learn FSDS in the process, and possibly release a newer/better aircraft for the simulator. I wasn't too long into fiddling with his model when I decided to just scrap the idea and start building a new one from scratch. I found a website dedicated to the Firefox aircraft and its owner, Mr. Kurt Beswick, was nice enough to texture the plane for me from his own incredible illustration. This is the final result.
