  FSX F-111 Aardvark, tail #63-9766.A repaint of Mike Stone's F-111 Aardvark, modified for Flight Simulator X. The paint scheme is of General Dynamics' first F-111 to fly. Tail #63-9766 flew its maiden flight December 21 1964, crewed by Dick Johnson and Val Prahl, General Dynamics test pilots. The aircraft was painted originally in a white / grey paint scheme. This aircraft is preserved at Edwards AFB in the AFFTC Museum lot. Aircraft package includes new flight dynamics and a new panel and effects. Pictures and history of the original aircraft included. This aircraft has completely retuned flight dynamics to perform at speeds in access of 525 mph to match the performance of the famous F-8 racer Rare Bear. | Dornier DO 228 German Navy |
 In the late 1970s Dornier GmbH developed a new kind of wing, the TNT ("Tragflügel neuer Technologie"), subsidized by the German Government. Dornier tested it on a modified Do 28D-2Skyservant and with Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-110 Turboprop engines. Finally Dornier changed the engine and tested the new aircraft, which was named Do 128 with two Garrett AiResearch TPE-331-5 engines. The company developed a new fuselage for the TNT and TPE 331-5 in two variants (15 and 19 Passenger) and named both project-aircraft E-1 (later Do 228-100) and E-2 (later Do 228-200). At ILA '80 Dornier presented the new aircraft in public. Both the prototypes were flown on March 21, 1981 and May 9, 1981 for the first time. After certification the first Do 228 entered service in the fleet of Norving Flyservice in February 1982. Over the years Dornier offered the 228 in upgraded variants and with special equipment for special missions. | XF-85 Goblin |
 This is a "parasite fighter" designed to be dropped from a B-36 Peacemaker. The plane itelf flew, although it lacked landing gear and attaching it to the trapeze for reattaching was tricky. This is a FS2004 model made by Kazunori Ito. I have done some "tweaks" to make the landing gear line up better with the model, and make it fly a bit better. Definitely a fun plane to fly. |

| FSX Boeing F4B-4 |
 FSX Boeing F4B-4. The Boeing F4B-4 was the last fixed gear biplane fighter in the US Navy inventory. This model is painted for Squadron VF-6 assigned to the USS Ranger CV-4. It was designed in FSDS v3.51 and compiled with Xtomdl into FSX SP2. The textures are .bmp format. It has the usual animations plus an operating tail hook. The 2D panel and VC are based on a photo and the VC has operating instruments plus animated flight controls.
