 (Kingfisher) was a three-engined medium bomber, with wooden structure.Designed by ingegner Filippo Zappata,who also designed the CANT Z.506 hydroplane. It had excellent flying characteristics and good stability and was regarded by some as "the best Italian bomber of World War II" although its wooden structure was easily damaged by the climate,like those experienced in North Africa and in Russia. It was used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica, Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force, Aeronautica Nazionale Republicana and Luftwaffe during World War II. VC only.   FS9 freeware Alphasim T-34C aircraft with improved Virtual Cockpit and 2D Panel featuring - extensive system functionalities based on the NATOPS T-34C familiarisation manual P-307_wch3.pdf - and random and pilot induced failure modules. This is the complete Alphasim T-34C aircraft but with modified 2D- and VC-panels, airfile, aircraft.cfg, and with system functionalities and failure modules added. The panel layout and system functionalities have been greatly improved, partly with custom gauges, and mirror the information contained in the NATOPS T-34C familiarisation manual P-307_wch3.pdf. I also modified the airfile and aircraft.cfg to adjust some parameters and aircraft performance more closely to real world data.  Miles M-38 Messenger Mk1 Among VIP operators allocated personal Messengers were Field Marshal Sir Bernard Montgomery and Marshal of the RAF Lord Tedder. 21 were built for military use - many were converted to MK4As post-war for civilian use. In its role as a VIP transport the 36 ft 2 in span Messenger had a maximum speed of 116 mph and range of 260 miles. Note - most early aircraft had these rectangular windows but see 'Versions-notes'. | FS2004/ FSX D.H.84 Dragon |
 The D.H.84 Dragon was designed & built in 1932 by de Havilland as a 6 - 8 seat medium-distance passenger airliner. Its primary route was to be the London to Paris route flown by Hillmans Airways. British production was 115 aircraft of which 52 were the Mk2 version with the framed windows. A further 87 were built in Australia as navigational trainers. The aircraft was later superceded by the better-known faster D.H. 89 Dragon Rapide. Three aircraft are offered in this package - the MK1 of Hillmans Airways, a MK1 in the livery of Railway Air Services Ltd (still flying) and a MK2 as Chrisair G-ADDI (now in America). The objective of this package is to achieve more realistic performance characteristics and a co-ordinated "brown" cockpit scheme for the 2D, 3D and external views. The previous version is not required for this install. The package includes "brown" 2D panels in 1024x768 and 1366x768 widescreen format, to match the 3D panel; revised aircraft.cfg and Piper_PA28R_Arrow.air files with new flight dynamics envelope (FDE); revised gauges to match the new FDE with new tooltips giving detailed gauge information.
