FS2002/FS2004 SAAB J21R |
FS2002/FS2004 SAAB J21R. The SAAB 21R was the first Swedish jet powered fighter/attack aircraft that saw service in the late 1940s. It was a jet-powered development of the piston-engined Saab 21. As a fighter, its service designation in the Swedish Air Force was J21R. The 21R was powered by a De Havilland Goblin 3 turbojet and was Sweden's first jet powered aircraft to be developed and built domestically. There were few differences between the 21 and the 21R, aside from the method of propulsion. The most notable difference was that the tailplane was raised to the top of the fins, moving it out of the way of the jet blast. Three kinds of models (clean / with radar / with missile) are included. By Kazunori Ito. |

FS2002/FS2004 CFS2 Consolidated B-32A |
FS2002/FS2004 CFS2 Consolidated B-32A Dominator. The Consolidated B-32 Dominator was a heavy bomber made for United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War, and has the distinction of being the last Allied aircraft to be engaged in combat during WWII. Developed in parallel with the B-29 Superfortress as a fallback design should the Superfortress prove unsuccessful, it only reached units in the Pacific during the summer of 1945, and thus saw only a very few combat operations against Japanese targets before the atomic bombs used on Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended the war. This model was made for CFS2 but was used as a testbed to learn FS2004 VC animations. This aircraft has most of the VC animations working it is being uploaded on the off chance somebody might find it useful. It is much better, VC-wise, than the unanimated CFS2 version. The model is by William Dickens. The airfile and cfg are by Pepe Rezende and William Dickens. The textures are freeware collected or made by W. Dickens. Wright-Cyclone sounds by Lawdog. Panel is converted from FS2004 C130 panel with no listed author. Crew figures and engines by Dave Eckert. By William Dickens. |
