  The CANT Z.1007bis Alcione (Kingfisher) was a three-engined medium bomber, with wooden structure. Designed by ingegner Filippo Zappata, who also designed the CANT Z.506 hydroplane. It had excellent flying characteristics and good stability and was regarded by some as "the best Italian bomber of World War II" although its wooden structure was easily damaged by the climate, like those experienced in North Africa and in Russia. It was used by the Italian Regia Aeronautica, Italian Co-Belligerent Air Force, Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana and Luftwaffe during World War II. VC only. | FS2004 Meteor U16 |
 This model represents as far as possible the Meteor U16 WK800 that was flown at Llanbedr until 2004. The real aircraft resides at the Boscombe Down Museum at Old Sarum. It is a bit fanciful in that it tries to show how it might have been flown with the Advanced Ground Station if TV camera technology was as good as the current 21st century devices. Trials were conducted in the '90s using technology of the period, but it was decided that it not safe enough at the time in the Llanbedr environment. The model can however be flown as a remote radio control aircraft or as a conventional aircraft. Port over to FSX possible with only engine start problem work around using default aircraft necessary. | FS2004 Thruxton Jackaroo |
 This aircraft used the main components of the Tiger Moth with a widened enclosed cabin section and a fuselage lengthened front and rear. To accomodate side by side passengers, the seats had to be slightly staggered. The 12.5 inch wider fuselage needed a similarly modified wider undercarriage; an advantage as it improved ground handling. The standard 130 h.p. DH Gypsy Major 1 series engines were retained but fitted with a more efficient metal propeller. The aircraft was designated as a modified DH 82A and named the Jackaroo. In all, 19 were converted. | FS2004 Flying Boat Giant Hughes H4 "Spruce Goose" |
 FS2004 Flying boat Hughes H4 "Spruce Goose" with three repainted texture sets. In fact the H4 was a flying ship with a wingspan of almost 98 m; until now the biggest wingspan ever built. The maximum weigth was designed for 181.5 tons. The famous flight pioneer Howard Hughes proposed that giant to be used as WWII troop transporter for 750 soldiers and a crew of 18 men; save vom U-boat attacks. The complete aircraft was made of birch and spruce wood. The construction was finished too late and so this huge airplane made only one testflight in low level. This FS2004-model is now reworked and provides three texture sets, DC-3 gauges and additional internal views. One repaint represent the white prototype, flown by Howard Huges, and the others are fictional "what if..." paintschemes, assuming a troop transporter in the colours of the American Forces or as intercontinental airliner in colours of the PAA. | FS2004 Lockheed P2V-5/F Neptune |
 The Neptunes were not glamorous aircraft, though they were certainly graceful looking. They attracted no particular following except among the crews operating them. The fuselage was long and slender (81 to 91 feet, depending on the model) and the 103 foot, high-lift wings tapered, with a slight dihedral, to fuel tanks attached at the tips. But it did the job as we knew it then, as well as served as a test-bed for the more advanced ASW aircraft of today. In 1957 all defensive armament was removed and replaced with ASW equipment. A plexiglass nose section with an observer operator/MAD position replaced the bow turret. The tail turret was replaced with MAD gear housed in a tapered, stingerlike fairing. The upper deck turret was faired over with plexiglass. This file has eight different variations of the Neptune. The aircraft has the normal animations as well as operating jet intake doors, upper cockpit doors, crew entrance ladder, retractable landing lights, bomb bay doors.
