Douglas C-133B Cargomaster Package |
Douglas C-133B Cargomaster FS2004 Pro. The C-133 Served as the USAF's only turbo-prop strategic airlifter from 1956 to 1971, when wing fatigue caused their retirement. The C-141 and C-5 then took over the "Weanie Wagon's" role. The main mission of the C-133 was to transport the USAF's range of ICBM's to their bases, and to move many oversized cargoes long distances. One being a ship's propeller and shaft to New Zealand. First version was the C-133A, serving at Dover AFB. The last dozen or so were the C-133B version, with new clamshell doors and more powerful engines. These served at Travis AFB. Tim Conrad 12 mb |

FSX/FS2004 Kawasaki KI-102B |
The Kawasaki Ki-102 was a Japanese warplane of World War II. It was a twin-engine, two-seat, long-range heavy fighter developed to replace the Ki-45 Toryu. Three versions were planned: the Ki-102a day fighter, Ki-102b ground-attack and Ki-102c night fighter. This aircraft's Allied reporting name was "Randy". This model features reflective metallic skin and full animations. The panel background has been taken from a default one (De Havilland Comet) due to lack of documentation about the real thing, with some modifications and all the gauges are default. Included in this model there is also a simple virtual cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls. By Italo D'Attomo and Giovanni Quai. 2 mb |

FSX/FS2004 Fiat G.12 |
This is an FS2004 release, but it will also work with only minor display errors in FSX. The Fiat G.12 was an Italian trimotor military/civil transport plane of the 1940s and early 1950s designed by the prolific engineer Giuseppe Gabrielli. This archive installs different MDLs for five different types of Fiat G12. They each have custom animations, sounds, engines, cockpit layouts, gauges, flight dynamics and on screen handling notes. All components are closely based on the original manuals. A detailed history and explanation of how to fly the five different versions of G.12 is included. Seven different liveries are supplied: Two Regia Aeronautica, one post war Italian Air Force (AMI), one Avio Linee Italiane (ALI), one Airone and two Alitalia ("Alcione" and "Regolo"). Models by Stefano Meneghini, liveries by Manuele Villa, flight dynamics and handling notes by FSAviator. 30 mb |

FS2004 Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird |
FS2004 Lockheed SR-71A Blackbird Rapid Rabbit at 80000 feet. An update to automatically fly at Mach 3.0 and 80000+ feet and then manually for cruising speeds up to Mach 3.5. It was inspired by an email contact with a real SR-71 pilot who spent 4 years and about 500 hours in the cockpit and knew her well. It became obvious that the normally quoted maximum of Mach 3.2 was indeed the normal cruising speed and that the Blackbird was flown safely at faster speeds particularly when out running launched G-A missiles capable of Mach 5. In a training mission over Arizona at 81000 feet, a pilot below asked for a GS check, 90 knots came the reply. A Navy F-18 joined in, 620 kts on the ground the reply. Too good to miss, the RSO asked for a check from 81000 feet, the startled ATC officer answered Aspinxx I have you at 1982 kts 2282 mph on the ground. It begs simulation, so in the package there are two flights from the 1980's and it is another upgrade of Robert Barker's FS2000 SR71 61-7978 and of Bob Chilico's previous FS2004 update. A new aircraft based on the Alphasim textures for 61-7955 using this air file is included. It is a new experience to fly a plan at 80000+ feet and at supersonic speeds. A great challenge to manually tighten a turn at Mach 3.5 and to get down again without running out of fuel. All that is missing is a tanker to refuel her at altitude. FS2004 Saunders Roe SR-45 |
This is the FS2004 version of the previous FSX model of the "Princess". The SR45 first flew in 1952 and was one of the largest flying boats ever built. It was overshadowed by the upcoming land based 707 and DC-8 so only one was finished and test flown. This is a FSDSv3.51 project compiled with Makemdl into FS2004. It has the usual animations, specular shine, DXT3 textures, reverse thrust, and turbine smoke that turns on and off as a function of throttle position. The VC is based on a photo and has animated flight and engine controls. There is no 2D panel. There are two liveries, the factory paint and the proposed BOAC livery. By Paul Clawson. 4.3 mb |
