  FS2002/FS2004 Westland Whirlwind Mk.I. The British Whirlwind was a diminutive, twin-engine heavy fighter from the Westland Aircraft company. The Whirlwind was one of the fastest aircraft in the air when it flew in the late 1930s, and much more heavily armed than anything flying. Protracted development problems with its Rolls-Royce Peregrine engines delayed the entire project and only a relatively small number were built. During the Second World War only two RAF squadrons would be equipped with the Whirlwind, and despite successful use as a fighter-bomber, its service life was short. By Kazunori Ito. 4 mb |

  FS2004 Ala Littoria Savoia Marchetti SM.74 (V.01). Built during 1934 by the Societa Idrovolanti Alta Italia "Savoia", the SM.74 had accommodation for twenty-four passengers in one large cabin. It had wooden wings and welded steel tube fuselage covered with aluminium and painted canvas. Fitted with four 780 hp Alfa Romeo AR.126 RC engines. Its loaded weight was 31,000 lbs and the cruising speed 190 mph. The SM.74 was the first four-engined Italian airliner. Only three planes were built (I-URBE, I-ROMA, I-ALPE), and they served from 1936 with Ala Littoria. Distinguished by comfort and luxury, these planes were fast, safe and sturdy. The SM.74s were used on the Rome-Paris route until 1938 and on the Rome-Tripoli route until 1940. After June 1940 the Royal Italian Air Force (Regia Aeronautica) incorporated all the civil aircrafts. The SM.74, carrying more than 5,000 kg of material, revealed itself as the best Italian (operative) cargo. Complete aircraft. Three different hi-res Gmax models (three different versions). Now the wheels are set at ground level instead of slightly underneath. Also engine horsepower increased to 350 hp and stall speed with flaps down is decreased to 45 knots. | FS2004 Beechcraft AT11 Kansan |
  FS2004 Beechcraft AT11 Kansan. The AT-11 was the standard U.S.A.F. and U.S. Navy World War II bombing trainer. About 90 percent of the more than 45,000 bombardiers trained in AT-11s. Like the C-45 transport and the AT-7 navigation trainer, the Kansan was a military version of the Beechcraft Model 18 commercial transport. Modifications included a transparent nose, a bomb bay, internal bomb racks and provisions for flexible guns for gunnery training. The model features very detailed moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels, rotating pilots head on rudder command. The panel includes some gauges expressly programmed by the authors, plus a certain amount of default gauges.  FS2004 Empire Fairchild Metroliner. The popular Metro in the colors of Empire. Includes fully animated surfaces, animated main and nose gear with animated rolling wheels and independent suspension on each gear. New texture set which has reflections as appropriate, what is being referred to as "dynamic shine". This is basically a highly light reflective finish to the model's fuselage and wing leading edge which gives the effect of the sun moving across surfaces as the aircraft flys. Includes visible flight deck with detailed crew. Also the panel is visible with full night effects. Light mapping -- this feature replaces the older FS2000 style textures required to replicate night.
