FS2004 Heinkel He-177 A-5/R5. Greif |
This was a long-range twin engined bomber of the Luftwaffe. The troubled aircraft was the only heavy bomber built in large numbers by Germany during World War II. Perhaps no other aircraft of the German Luftwaffe was so potentially useful, but so troublesome as the Heinkel He-177 Greif. by Kazunori Ito. 3.5 mb |

FS2004 Galicia L51 ship |
fs2004_f101_alvarode_bazanp.jpg">For those friends who asked me for a Galicia ship near the LHD Juan Carlos I and my other Spanish Armada designs. This ship completes a naval parade of the Spanish Armada in the bay of Santander, with the F101 Álvaro de Bazán and F84 Reina Sofía frigates. All of them with landable decks and deck lights. The Galicia class (Galicia and Castilla ships) are 13,900t logistic support ships, based at the Rota, Cadiz, naval base in Spain. They were built by Izar (then Bazan) at the Ferrol shipyard and the vessels were commissioned in 1998 and 2000, respectively. To a similar design, the Royal Schelde Company built HRMS Rotterdam, commissioned in 1998, for the Royal Netherlands Navy. This is a FS 2004 version of the Galicia L51 ship, placed near Santander (Spain) (N43.33, W3.45). You will find a new airport called Galicia Santander (GALS) among the Spanish ones, perfect to practise helicopter takeoff and landings. By ALberto Garcia Lledo 2 mb |

FS2004 Spanish Armada F 101 Álvaro de Bazán frigate |
The F100 class is the first european design with the Aegis system, developed by Lockheed-Martin. It is able to detect and track until 90 movile objectives. The profile of the ship has been designed to reduce the radar echo. It carries a SH60B Lamps helicopter. The F 101 was built by Navantia in the Ferrol shipyards and entered in service in 2002. Five other frigates complete the class. Following a similar concept, Navantia has built the F310 class for the Norwegian navy and will develop a destroyer for the Australian navy. FS2004 Italian Air Force Lockeed F-104G |
FS2004 Italian Air Force Lockeed F-104G Starfighter. Lockheed's F-104 "Starfighter" was sleek, sexy, and difficult to fly. Essentially a J-79 turbojet with tiny wings and a place for the pilot to sit, it had a poor turning radius and very unpredictable behaviour at high angles of attack along with very high takeoff and landing speeds. Its strength was never in its agility, but rather in its speed. The type was the only aircraft in existence at the time that could sustain speeds of over Mach 2.0, and it had a stellar rate of climb. The "Starfighter" was an icon among jet interceptors throughout the 1970s. It was built also in Italy (G version), under licence. The first Italian F-104G flown during the end of 1962 and the last one (S version) was retired from active service in 2004 (42 years!). Textures only for two "Starfighters"of the 9 Gruppo of 4 Aerobrigata of the Aeronautica Militare Italiana (Italian Air Force), the first unit to receive the "Starfighter", based on Grosseto Airport, 1963/64. These textures require a copy of the payware Alphasim F-104G. The paints were done with the paintkit provided by Alphasim/Frank Safranek and the metal base textures provided by Henry William. FS2004 Martin Marauder B-26C "Mary Ann" |
FS2004 Martin Marauder B-26C "Mary Ann". A B26C of the 494th BS 344th BG based at Stanstead (1944). Included in this file you'll find an alternative flight model done by Bruce Pikula; to fly with this flight dynamics the plane will require a higher speed (and care) for take off and landings and even more attention during cruising (only for experienced pilots; with permission of David Eckert). FS2002/FS2004 Richtofen Fokker Dr. I |
FS2002/FS2004 Fokker Dr. I Manfred von Richtofen. One of the most immediately recognisable aircraft types, even to those with no interest in aviation, has to be the Fokker Triplane. Undoubtedly the most famous of them all was that of Manfred Von Richtofen, also known as "Le Petite Rouge" and "The Red Baron". This repaint allows you to fly the machine in which he was shot down and killed on April 21 1918. Many replicas of this infamous aircraft have been built, including one in these exact colors and based at Omaka Aerodrome. Designed to complement Robin Corn's "RealNZ Marlborough" scenery package.
