| FS2004 Air Jamaica Airbus A320-214 |
  FS2004 Air Jamaica Airbus A320-214, registration 6Y-JMK, "Spirit of Mandeville", with lighting effects and updated FDE. Air Jamaica was founded in late 1968 and started operations in April of 1969. Throughout its existence it had enjoyed expansive growth through the 1990's during which time the Jamaican government reduced their ownership share in the company to 25% in an effort to privatize it. However, in 2004 Air Jamaica suffered significant financial losses, so the government interceded to take back 100% ownership of the company. Air Jamaica has argueably one of the brightest, most colorful liverys of any airline flying. It had not been that way until the 1990's when Air Jamaica repainted its fleet in this livery. This airframe, registration 6Y-JMK, was delivered to Air Jamaica in July of 2003 and is the newest A320 in thier fleet of nine. She bears the name "Spirit of Mandeville" aft of the flag of Jamaica below the side windscreen. Attention was paid to detail and realism as much as possible. Most repainted textures are 32 bit with no mipmaps (wings are DXT3). Repaint by Jeffrey S. Bryner, Model by Project Airbus, FDE and lighting modifications by Grayson Ottaway.   I am very proud to present this Project Airbus A320-214, registration N270AV, of USA3000 Airlines. USA3000 is a FAA Part 121 Air Carrier based in Newton Square, Pennsylvania and was created out of the idea for the travel company Apple Vacations to have its own airline. Although it does operate scheduled flights, USA3000 is principally a (vacation) charter airline. The USA3000 fleet is made up exclusively of A320's. This is one of the current fleet of 10 A320's operated by USA3000. This aircraft appropriately bears the name 'Cancun', as she and the rest of the USA3000 fleet are regulars at MMUN. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible. Most repainted textures are 32-bit with no mipmaps. Full Installation package, Project Airbus A320 model and air files included. | FS2004 Project Airbus Airbus A320-231 Compania Mexicana de Aviacion |
  I have always wanted to paint an aircraft in the Mexicana livery. The chance has presented itself, so here it is. I am very proud to present this Project Airbus A320-231, registration F-OHMJ, one of 31 Airbus A320s operated by Compania Mexicana de Aviacion (cka Mexicana). This is one of the first 10 A320's operated by Mexicana; it was delivered new by Airbus to Mexicana in February 1992 and initially was registered as XA-RJX. Under Mexicana's old (but in my opinion much more beautiful) livery this aircraft bore the name 'Cozumel.' The A320 performs as a mid-range aircraft for Mexicana principally serving destinations in the US. This aircraft was a joy to paint thanks to the paintkit from Project Airbus.
