| CJN4 Assiniboia Saskatchewan, Canada |
 Assiniboia Airport is located 11 km (7 miles) north of the town of Assiniboia in south central Saskatchewan, Canada. The airport is situated on the site of the wartime aerodrome built as part of the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. CJN4 Assiniboia was constructed using GMAX. It includes photo-real custom models of all the buildings at the airport, runway signs, refueling facilities, weather station, vehicles, runway and taxiway lighting and a rotating beacon. It also includes custom ground textures to replicate the crumbling decommissioned runways and cracked tarmac. | Chiang Mai Photo scenery |
  Chiang Mai was founded in the late 13th century. It was once the capital of Lanna, an independent Thai Kingdom and has preserved its unique cultural heritage to a marked degree. It is located 700 km (435 mi) north of Bangkok, among the highest mountains in the country. The city is on the Ping river, a major tributary of the Chao Phraya river. Culture of Chiang Mai is architecture reflects Lanna Thai,Burmese,Sri Lankan and Mon influences.There are some 300 temples in the city and on its outskirts. The Golden Age of Lanna-Chiang Mai lies some 500 years back in the time of king Tilokarat,but the city has recently been undergoing a process of regeneration,and while full of the bustle of modern life,it hasn't lost touch with its glorious past. This scenery just only preview the real thing. If you visit Thailand, this city is the "must" see in your trip. | FS2004 Scenery--Sleap Airfield |
 A fairly accurate representation of this airfield, situated near the village of Wem in North Shropshire, England. It was an RAF Station during WWI and WWII mainly used for training aircrew, flying Whitleys and Wellingtons. It is now the home of the Shropshire Flying Club. A more detailed history in included in the readme. Also included is a traffic file to bring the place to life, based on modern day traffic movements using typical aircraft seen there most days. | FS2004 Scenery--Hana Heli-Playground |
 Hana Airport is a regional airport of the State of Hawaii (HI) on the east shore of the island of Maui, 3 nm northwest of the unincorporated town of Hana. The airport covers 119 acres and has one runway. It is primarily a commuter facility used by unscheduled air taxis and general aviation. This scenery is intended as a single/multiplayer helicopter obstacle course where heli pilots can meet to compete, show off, and share their helo skills. Since Timm Turner already did a neat scenery called Hana_Scenery_PHHN it was decided to convert PHHN to a full helicopter training area. Another unique thing about this scenery is the neighboring islands (Honolulu Int'l/Hickam AFB, Bellows AFB, Lanai City, Kahului, Molokai, etc). If you get frustrated during your heli obstacle course training, just take a heading of 275 degrees, and relax at one of the neighboring islands. By Bob Ferguson. 29 mb |

| FS2004 Scenery-Gatineau River Dams |
 The Paugan and Mercier Dams are on the Gatineau River in Quebec, north of Ottawa. Both of them are for power generation, rather than water conservation. The Paugan Dam is around 30 miles north up the river from Ottawa and the Mercier a further 70 miles. The Mercier holds back a huge and irregularly shaped volume of water known as the Reservoir Baskatong, with numerous branching arms and islands, and you will recognise where the dam must be long before you see it. | Tongass Remote Airfield |
 This airstrip is for Flight Simulator 2004 and for the Tongass Fjords addon by Holger Sandmann and Bill Womack. Version 2 is a detailed, stand-alone, remake of the first version. Field history and description: In the early days this area was well known to prospectors and hunters. A small mine was established and later abandoned. Around the late 40s a crew was contracted to clear a small landing area to gain easier access for hunters and campers. Due to the extreme remoteness of this area that clearing took several years. The last phase was the approach, clearing by hand a descending glide slope through just the tops of the tall trees. There is now just enough room for a very experienced pilot to get in and out of this field. The airfield is 26 miles north of Petersburg Alaska (PAPG). This is a tricky narrow approach with a left hand dogleg and then an immediate right hand dogleg turn just before the final approach. Not much time to set up your approach; also, it's a very short runway. For experienced pilots only, and make sure that your life insurance is up to date. Good luck. By Jay Langham. 6.5 mb |
