| FS2004/FSX Spitfire Mk XI |
  The Mk XI was a reconnaissance aircraft based on a combination of features from the marks VII, VIII and IX. The PR.Mk.XI variant, the last one of the Spitfires with Merlin engine, was the most important allied reconnaissance airplane on the European front, being used by the RAF and the USAF, flying missions alone and unarmed at distant objectives as far as Berlin.   is a tandem seat aircraft designed and manufactured in Italy by Iniziative Industriali Italiane (Meteor) S.p.A., a company manufacturing gliders, airplanes and Remotely Piloted Vehicles since 1947. This version of the Sky Arrow has been designed as sport and recreational aircraft, as well as for training, research and aerial surveillance. The Sky Arrow 650 TCNS, being almost entirely made of carbon fiber in epoxy resin, features a strong composite structure and therefore has a very high strength to weight ratio.  FSX MOT Douglas DC-3. MOT-'Ministry of Transport' NZ operated tow of these aircraft on calibration and navigation duties throughout New Zealand and many other Pacific islands and regions. Both retired December 1972. The skin for this DC-3 requires the AS4SUMJE.ZIP file, a modification of the default DC-3 that includes four different models (DC-3 normal, DC-3 Viewmaster, DC-3 cargo, and LC-47).   First off this is only an interesting way to check out the FSX space views and is not to be meant as a challenge flight..as the aircraft is totally controlled from (Houston ConTrOl!!) or the cfg file..so anyway..(dont try to fly it as it ascends)...the save flight puts you already after Liftoff over Cape Canaveral and headed UP..The shuttle is animated and effect timed to do a roll and booster and fuel tank seperation on the way up..plus the effects will cut off when you reach orbit altitude...When you are above 600 thousand feet then you are good as for orbit..You may then hit the (Y) key on your keyboard to go into (Slew) mode..then hold down an appropriate (arrow) key on the keyboard to set a direction of orbit...Then you can controll the shuttle with the arrow keys and other keys to rotate ect.. | FS2004/FSX The Curtiss Robin |
  This package contains two versions of the Curtiss Robin. To install these aircraft, unzip the package into a temporary folder (which you’ve already done or you wouldn’t be reading this). Drop the Aircraft folder into your main C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9 (or GW3) directory to install both planes. If you prefer to install only one version, open the package's Aircraft folder and drop the desired plane plane into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9 (or GW3)\Aircraft folder. | FS2004 Challenger2 Tank for FSX (Version 1.1) |
 The Challenger2 is the British Army's Main Battle Tank. This model was made using public domain drawings and photos found on the internet. It was modelled using 3D Canvas modelling software and compiled using the FS9 MakeMDL compiler. As a result I'm told it does work in FS9 if the camera definitions section of the aircraft.cfg is removed... Only attempt this if you are familiar with how to edit the airctaft.cfg file. Bruce has done a good job of the dynamics to give a good tank like feel.Rick Dorr has suggested a few minor changes to improve handling which I have added. Its not perfect but You will just have to accept these as limitations of the model. The turret and gun move based on Aileron and Elevator movement and steering is based on rudder... so a twistgrip joystick or pedals will be an advantage. We hope you enjoy this model. Its meant to be just a bit of fun... something different to drive within the Sim and goes quite well with some of the existing Military scenery that is available for Flight Sim. Decompiling and using for any other purpose is not allowed. There is no VC/2D panel I'm afraid as I dont have panel making skills at present, but anyone out there in the FS comunity who wants to have a go at a 2D Panel is most welcome... but the panel must be uploaded as a separate item. The same goes for any effects or improved Sounds that anyone wants to do. SUPPORT: There is none implied or garunteed. We have made every reasonable effort to make sure it works ok...
