FSX Cessna Skyhawk 172SP ZK-JRA G1000 |
A stable and trustworthy plane, most pilots have logged at least a few hours in a Cessna 172, since it's the most widely available aircraft in the rental fleet, and is used by most flight schools. Since the first prototype was completed in 1955, more than 35,000 C172s have been produced, making it the world's most popular single-engine plane. One of Cessna's first tricycle-gear airplanes, the 172 quickly became the favorite of a growing class of business pilots. Its reliability and easy handling (along with thoughtful engineering and structural updates) have ensured its continued popularity for decades. Author: Jon Murchison 2.6 mb |

FS2004/FSX SIMSHED Gnat |
This is the Folland Gnat TR1 of the Royal Air Force. Provided in both standard training and aerobatic models, this was the aircraft made famous by the Red Arrows. The team were formed at RAF Fairford from the Yellowjacks during 1964 and first displayed using the Gnat in the summer of 1965 they flew the Gnat until 1979 when they converted to the Hawk. The Gnat was also the RAF's advanced jet trainer of the period and was a common sight in the low level areas of North Wales. The Gnat was also famous for it's phenominal roll rate, 420 degrees per second. The schemes here cover the RAF's use of the Gnat from the 1958 until 1979. By Brian Franklin 29 mb |

Fsx Southern Cross Fokker FVII/3m |
FSX / FS2004 Southern Cross Fokker FVII/3m. The 'Southern Cross' made the first crossing of the Pacific Ocean by an aircraft, flown by Charles Kingsford-Smith and a crew of three. They took off from Oakland, California on May 31, 1928, and arrived at Brisbane, Australia on June 19. The Southern Cross was, at the time, even more famous than Charles Lindberg's 'Spirit of St. Louis'. The Southern Cross is preserved today at Brisbane Airport. This package includes the aircraft model and ready-made flights you can use to recreate the 1928 experience. Improved version 2 model, modified to work with FSX as well as FS2004. By Jens B. Mirage F.1CG Hellenic Air Force |
On 16 June 1974 the contract for 40 Mirage F.1CG.s was signed and the deliveries were scheduled to last from 1977 until 1979. Because of the invasion of Cyprus by Turkey, in July 1974, the Mirages delivered on 5 August 1975. The Greek F.1CGs aircraft entered service with the 342 Mira, which at the time was still using the F-102A Delta Dart as an all-weather interceptor. The last Delta Daggers in HAF service would be retired in 1977 when all 40 F.1CGs were delivered. Unfortunately the Hellenic Air Force Staff did not buy any of the French AA missiles to equip the new fighters and so these had to be armed with US-supplied AIM-9Js instead. In 1984 the KETA (Center for Research and Aviation Technology) stared to develop the wiring for the 2 outboard underwing pylons, in order to make F.1Cgs able to carry 4 AAM instead of 2. This happened with Dassault's help by 1985 and ever since the PA Mirage tooth four AIM-9P-2. After the arrival of more modern types in PA service, the Mirage E.1CG's started to become secondary in PA planning and air operations. In 2000 344 Mira disbanded and all it’s aircraft and personnel passed on to 342 Mira. After almost 28 years of service, on 30 June 2003 the remaining 24 F.1CG's were retired at Tanagra AB. In total, the PA logged no less but 160.000+ flying hours with its F.1CGs, which means 5500-6000 per airframe - and many of these - over 3.500+ hours - in "live" interceptions over the Aegean Sea, under combat-similar conditions. Features: panel, Virtual Cockpit, four Textures, Sounds, msonic boom effect, reworked and more accurate flight dynamics. By Thanasis Delizisis, Panagiotis Delizisis, Kirk Olsson 31 mb |

FSX Latecoere Late 300 |
The Latecoere 300 flew for the first time in 1931 and then had to be rebuilt after sinking. It was flown again in 1932 as the Croix du Sud parasol-wing monoplane flying-boat with four 484.4kW Hispano-Suiza 12NBr water-cooled engines in tandem pairs. On 31 December 1933 it achieved an international record by covering covering 3,679km non-stop flight. Thereafter it operated the Air France South Atlantic mail service between Dakar and Natal, until it was lost at sea with pilot Jean Mermoz on the 24th crossing on 7 December 1936. The all-metal two-step hull accommodated a four-man crew with sleeping accommodation, mail load and most of the fuel. FS9 MODEL & TEXTURES BY RV HIEN (PAYAKAN) 3.6 mb |

FSX Bf-109G-10-DC Gustav |
In 1943 Willy Messerschmitt proposed a heavily modified version of his extremely successful but aging Bf 109. The Me209-II would compete against Focke-Wulf's high performance Fw190D-9 and Ta152 fighters. Like these enhanced versions of Kurt Tank's design, the new Me 209 would share most of its airframe with a proven model, in this case, the Me 109G. This marked a departure from the first failed Me209, design as a racer and flew in 1938, and Me309 projects which had been completely new designs. The Me 209 featured a new tail section, broad-track landing gear, a taller tail, and an annular radiator which gave the engine a superficial resemblance to a radial powerplant. As the project progressed, the Me209's evoluted from a simple, enhanced version of the Bf109 to a progressively incompatible airframe. The Me209V-5 featured armament of one MK 108 and two MG 131 in the wing roots. The V6 was the first version to be converted to use the Jumo 213 engine and had MG 151/20 guns instead of the MG 131. The Me209H-1 was a high-altitude variant with extended wings and reverted to the DB 603. 12 mb |
