| FSX Update for the Lockheed Martin F-16 2-seater |
 This is an FSX update for the Lockheed Martin F-16 2-seater by Kirk Olsson. The package features both an enhanced and reconfigured VC and 2D panel. Included are new afterburner, smoke and burner effects. In addition, the aircraft now has additional camera views, amomg them VC rear-seat view with enhanced rear panel. This model was part of my earliar F-16 update, but as this model is a 2-seater, both the contact points and the camera views are different and had to be adjusted accordingly. | FSX Update for the XF-84H Thunderscreech |
 The Republic XF-84H "Thunderscreech" was an experimental turboprop aircraft derived from the F-84F Thunderstreak. Its maiden flight took place in July 1955. Powered by a turbine engine that was mated to a supersonic propeller, the XF-84H had the potential of setting the unofficial air speed record for propeller-driven aircraft, but was unable to overcome teething aerodynamic deficiencies, resulting in the cancellation of the program. The aircraft was named "Thunderscreech", because it was quite possibly the loudest aircraft ever built. This is an FSX update for the XF-84H, designed by Kazunori Ito for FS2002. It features a new 2D panel with FSX compatible gauges as well as a highly detailed static VC (non-functional gauges) and the FDE has been changed to make it flyable in FSX.  The F84 Thunderjet was one of the most important western fighters of the 1950's. It was produced in very large numbers, had a distinguished carreer with the USAF in Korea as a fighter-bomber, and was for a number of years the main equipment of many NATO air forces. Pilots nicknamed the Thunderjet "The Lead Sled". It was also called "The Iron Crowbar", "a hole sucking air", "The Hog" ("The Groundhog"), and "The World's Fastest Tricycle", as a testament to its long takeoff rolls. Note: Normal car top speed is about 250 where the original built for Le Mans hit 207 MPH. Enable War Powers as a convenient button to add boost for 270 MPH. But make sure you disable the boost when wanting to slow down for the chicanes, and at corner at Arnage, and through the Porsche curves in Le Mans 4 FSX.  The now implemented VVC night lighting is the main feature of this v3.14 update but it certainly is not the only new feature. The Interactive Checklist has been significantly upgraded, 'Automixture' can now be activated, the flight dynamics have been fine-tuned, alternative config files have been provided for joystick or pedal control of ground steering, and there is a set of working OMI marker lights. Further modifications and corrections have been implemented following feedback including new VOR1/2 compass roses, better placement of AH markers and various texture corrections/additions here and there.  Built by Consolidated Vultee (Convair) in the late forties, the Convair B36 Peacemaker was the largest American bomber every produced. Development of the huge plane began in 1941. The Army Air Force wanted a bomber that could fly from the United States to Europe, drop bombs, then return. The prototype first flew on August 8, 1946. The first operational models were delivered to the Strategic Air Command 1948. Included in this file are versions A, B, D, H, and J models. The A and B versions are textured in polished metal textures.  The Beechcraft Model 18 aircraft is the most modified U.S.-certified aircraft design, with over 200 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) approved Supplemental Type Certificates (STC's) on record for the aircraft. The C-45H N8640E Grimes Flying Laboratory is a flying aircraft lighting demonstrator which has been restored by the Grimes Flying Lab Foundation and operates out of Grimes Field in Urbana, OH.  This is an update for FSX of the DC4 by Jens B. Kristensen. I have added the rest of the wheels; corrected the contact points; changed the size of the GPS; added a trim gauge to both panels; added a more modern autopilot; changed the touchdown effect; and tweeked the flight dynamics. This is only the passenger model and includes the radar model, it does not include the cargo model.
