 This project was inspired by Mark Schimmer's World War II era Solomon Islands scenery, with routes based on his outline. There are two US carrier groups, light carriers, destroyers, supply boats, PT boats, and IJN destroyer patrols. | Frankfurt Main Airport (EDDF), v3 |
  This is a major update to the previous airport package (Frankfurt ILS25R V2.2 package) using ADE 1.47 and represents the layout of the airport in June 2010. Features now include updated ILS/DME capabilities to runways as per recent changes, a completely revised South City Cargo area, updated aprons including new flood lit lighting and a new Lufthansa A380 hangar built in Gmax. Revised airline gate allocations for Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 included plus the addition of 5 new A380 gates at Terminal 2. A new control tower on the north parking apron has been added in preparation for the A-plus terminal expansion. Runways and several taxiway textures changed to asphalt as per resurfacing work at real airport. Improved quality CAT II/III signage available at intersections and new No Entry signage added for specific taxiways for extra realism. | Wigram Aerodrome |
 Wigram aerodrome is closed in real life but it's a small airfield located in Wigram, Christchurch, South Island, New Zealand and is home to the Airforce Museum of New Zealand. This scenery addon replaces all taxiways, runways, parking and apron and includes default FSX scenery objects placed in their real location. Everything here was placed accurately based on aerial imagery. | Helms Aero Service - Long Lake, NY |
 By request, here is an improved version of Helms Aero Service, Long Lake, NY. There was nothing at all there in FSX except a water runway. I moved the runway, added docks, static float planes, buildings, trees, park benches, telephone poles, and a marina. I also placed an Adirondack fire tower in the approximate location where a tower actually exists on Owl's Head. You'll have to search for it. Due to the shore lines and roads involved in this scenery ULTIMATE TERRAIN X USA IS REQUIRED. Results will not be satisfactory without it. 3 kb |

| NAS North Island Mast |
 On 13, October 1923, a special USN board directed that semiportable mooring masts (160-foot poles of steel tubing 16 inches in diameter and braced by three sets of guy wires) were to be erected at Forth Worth, San Diego and Camp Lewis (Washington State). In August of 1924, it was decided that the USS Shenandoah (ZRS-1) would make a set of flights's from her base at NAS Lakehurst to the West Coast and back, using the mooring masts at Fort Worth, San Diego and Seattle (Camp Lewis). In accordince with this plan, the USS Shenandoah arrived at the Naval Air Station North Island at 2300 on 10 October 1924, and landed on the ground. She was then secured to the mooring mast the following morning, during daylight. She remained moored to the mast for the next five days, while some damage that was done during the landing the previous evening, was repaired. 1 mb |

| NAS Sunnyvale CA (KNUQ) |
 In 1931, the city of Sunnyvale acquired a 1,000 acre (4 km���²) parcel of farmland bordering San Francisco Bay, then "sold" the parcel for $1 to the US government as a home base for the Navy airship USS Macon. The location proved to be ideal for an airport, since the area is often clear while other parts of the San Francisco Bay are covered in fog. This is due to the Coast Range to the west which blocks the cold oceanic air which is the cause of San Francisco fog. The base, originally named Airbase Sunnyvale CAL (it was thought that calling it Mountain View would cause officials to fear airships colliding with mountainsides), was accepted by the U.S. Navy on February 12, 1931 and dedicated NAS Sunnyvale on April 12, 1933. After the death of Rear Admiral William A. Moffett, in the loss of the USS Akron on April 4, 1933, the Air Field (but not the Naval Air Station) was renamed Moffett Field on September 1, 1933. 7 mb |
