| FSX/FS2004 USS Stennis Aircraft Carrier & Coast Guard Helicopter |
  This enhancement, created from several readily available components, features the USS Stennis Aircraft Carrier and AI Jayhawk Coast Guard Helicopters flying to and from it. The carrier is steaming up the Oregon coast off the Port of Newport and is escorted by a Coast Guard Cutter. The scenery is designed to compliment my Newport, Oregon airport (KNOP) scenery - newport1.zip - but will work with the FS2004 default scenery also. All necessary files are included. | Alternate waves (beach surf) for FSX and FS9 |
 I made a wave effects file, as the original ones 'wiggle' like tadpoles and the waves do like 100 mph and it was annoying. I made them wider and move a lot slower and they suck back into the ocean. Not super perfect, I'm sure someone could make them like real ones...but since I'm no expert I just mess with the numbers to at least get them better than default. David Cotton 116 kb |
