AF_Scrub_La-11 for CFS2 |
The La-11 was developed from a long line of Lavochkin aircraft and first flew in 1944. It was an excellent front line fighter aircraft during the latter stages of WW2. Powered by a 1,850hp ASh-82FN radial engine it had a top speed of 420 mph at altitude. The La-11 was supplied in some numbers to both the Chinese and the North Korean air forces, and saw operational use during the Korean conflict. It was finally phased out of first line VVS service in the early fifties. The La-11 became the last generation of Soviet piston fighters - the jet age had begun. Complete plane by A.F. Scrub. 16.4 mb |

Martin P4M Mercator |
The Martin P4M Mercator was a maritime reconnaissance aircraft built by the Glenn L. Martin Company. The Mercator was an unsuccessful contender for a United States Navy requirement for a long-range maritime patrol bomber, with the Lockheed P2V Neptune chosen instead. It saw a limited life as a long-range electronic reconnaissance aircraft. Its most unusual feature was that it was powered by a combination of piston engines and turbojets, the latter being in the rear of the engine nacelles. 32 mb |

F Giuli Caproni CA101 D2 |
Model, virtual cockpit and FS2004 aircraft files by F. Giuli with FSDS V.3. CFS2 airfile, DP, panel.cfg and aircraft.cfg by Peperez (Pepe Rezende). Pilots by William Dickens (Bismarck13) The Ca.101 was a derivative of the Caproni Ca.97, with an enlarged airframe, which increased the payload from 574 kg (1,265 lb) to 800 kg (1,760 lb). Initially planned as a civil airliner, it was soon converted to the bomber/transport role. The aircraft was a typical 1920's design. It had three engines, one in the nose and one under each wing, high wings and a fixed undercarriage. 3.8 mb |

F Giulli Ki64 Rob V2 |
F Giulli Ki64 Rob V2. New airfile with better performance. It's a complete plane that replaces former version. Kawasaki Chief Designer, Takeo Doi, had a design of his own for a high-speed fighter. His concept incorporated a number of novel features which were perceived as rather unorthodox in comparison to other more conventional types. First;it had two Kawasaki Ha-40 engines in tandem; one in the aircraft nose, theother behind the cockpit, both being connected by a drive shaft. This combination (called the Kawasaki Ha-201) drove two, three-bladed,contra-rotating propellers. The second feature was the use of the wing surface as a radiator for the water-cooled engines. 8 mb |

The C.205N1 first flew on 1 November 1942, with armament consisting of a 20 mm cannon firing through the propeller hub, and four cowling-mounted 12.7 mm (.5 in) Breda-SAFAT machine guns for which it carried 300-400 and 1,400 rounds of ammunition respectively. The maiden flight of the second prototype, the C.205N2, took place on 19 May 1943. It was equipped with one engine-mounted 20 mm cannon, two wing-mounted 20 mm cannon, and two fuselage-mounted 12.7 mm (.5 in) machine guns. 29 mb |

F Giulli Macchi C 207 |
Proposed in 1944, the Macchi C.207 was equipped with a 1,750 hp DB 603 engined. The main change was an increase in armament. It was armed with four 20mm cannon mounted in the wings. Work began on the prototype, but it was never completed. After the War, Castoldi proposed a version equipped with a Packard Merlin engine. Italian authorities preferred to invest in a similar version of the Fiat G.55 and the Fiat G.59 was born. 8 mb |

F Giulli Caproni Ca183Bis |
Caproni team commenced design work on a specialized high-altitude fighter, the CA.183bis. The CA.183bis had a liquid-cooled, 1250-hp DB.605 in the nose, driving contra-rotating six-bladed-bladed contra-rotating propeller. A 700-hp FIAT A.30 V12 engine drove a Campini compressor in a mid-fuselage duct. Scoops in the fuselage sides provided cooling air for the FIAT engine and air mass for the afterburner. 19.3 MB |

Piaggio P50 |
The Piaggio P.50 was an Italian heavy bomber aircraft projected by two of the most skilled prewar engineers, Giovanni Pegna and Giovanni Casiraghi. In the P.50, Casiraghi tested features of the only Italian heavy bomber of WW2, the Piaggio P.108. F Giulli 18 MB |

F Giulli SM89 |
The SM.89 was intended to be a bomber/attack aircraft, something similar to Junkers Ju 88. The aircraft displayed some impressive features, but it was not a new project, rather an extrapolation from the earlier SM.84. 25 MB |
