CFS2 Ki.21 Package |
Two models covered, Ki.21-I and Ki.21-IIB. The Ki-21 was designed in response to a demanding specification from the Imperial Japanese Army for a heavy bomber in 1936. The design was chosen over the Nakajima Ki-19 and suffered severe teething problems and specification changes but eventually was put into production in 1937 by Mitsubishi and Nakajima in 1938. Serving as the Army's premier bomber through the late 30's the type suffered heavily in Burma against the Hurricane and eventually faded from service by 1943. By peperez 7.1 mb |
