FS2002/FS2004 Lockheed F-94C Starfire |
FS2002/FS2004 Lockheed F-94C Starfire. The F-94 was the United States Air Force's first operational jet-powered all-weather interceptor aircraft. It was a development of the two seater T-33 Shooting Star trainer aircraft. The F-94C Starfire was significantly modified from the early F-94 variants; in fact, it was initially designated F-97, but it was decided to treat it as just a new version of F-94. Initially, USAF interest was lukewarm, so Lockheed funded development themselves. By Kazunori Ito. 2.2 mb |

FS2004 Rockwell X31 |
FS2004 Rockwell X31. The X-31 was designed to break the "stall barrier", allowing it to flight at angles of attack which would typically cause an aircraft to stall resulting loss of control. The X-31 employs thrust vectoring paddles which are placed in the jet exhaust, allowing the aircraft to maintain control at very high angles. The X-31 also utilizes computer controlled canard wings to help keep the aircraft stable at high attack angles. The model features the usual moving parts, such as all flight controls, spinning wheels, drag-chute and so on. The livery provided with this model and the panel background have been created entirely from scratch, based on photographic material found in the net. Included with this model is a simplified virtual cockpit, with working essential gauges and animated flight controls. By Italo D'Attomo and Giovanni Quai. 1.8 mb |

Percival Proctor I |
All new gmax 1.2 airframe, .xml instruments, .cfg & .air files of this civilianised military communications & training aircraft of the WWII period. This particular aircraft was owned & maintained by my father for 18 years & in which he competed in many UK air races (hence the number 65 on the rudder) with me as 'navigator'. All controls & instruments are available in both 2D & Virtual Cockpits. Aerobatics are possible in the simulation, although they were forbidden in the real thing because of strength considerations. FS2002/FS2004 DeHavilland DH.108 Swallow |
FS2002/FS2004 DeHavilland DH.108 Swallow. This was a British experimental aircraft designed by John Carver Meadows Frost in October 1945. The DH 108 featured a tailless, swept wing with a single vertical stabilizer, closely resembling the layout of the wartime German Messerschmitt Me 163 Komet rocket-powered point-defense interceptor. Initially designed to evaluate swept wing handling characteristics at low and high subsonic speeds for the proposed early tailless design of the Comet airliner, three examples of the DH108 were built to the Air Ministry specifications E.1/45 and E.11/45. With the adoption of a conventional tail for the Comet, the aircraft were used instead to investigate swept wing handling up to supersonic speeds. All three prototypes were lost in fatal crashes. Two kinds of models (clean / with virtual weapon set) are included. By Kazunori Ito. 2.5 mb |

FS2002/FS2004 DeHavilland DH.86 Express |
FS2002/FS2004 DeHavilland DH.86 Express. This was a four engined development of the D.H.84 Dragon, developed in 1933 to meet an order by the Australian QANTAS for an airliner to fly the Singapore to Australia route. A number were operated by various military services. A total of 62 were built. The DH 86 had a busy career until eight were impressed into RAAF service from late 1939. Three kind of paint examples (Imperial Airways, Qantas Airlines, for military) are included. By Kazunori Ito. 3.4 mb |

GAF Government Aircraft Factories Nomad 24 |
The Australian built GAF Nomad (GAF - Government Aircraft Factories) was manufactured in the 1970's. This model, GAF Nomad 24, could carry 17 passengers. This aircraft has been made primarily for AI purposes but actually also flies well as an ordinary aircraft. This Gmax model has 6 LODs with only 2510 polygons (triangles) for the main model. I am indebted to Ray Blake who has made all the textures (six) for this package. There are two separate paintkits being posted to Avsim. The first is the default which will suit most painters needs. The second uses the "tfslg" model (top fuselage) and provides for detail on top of the fuselage and was used for the army aircraft camouflage texture which is part of this package.
