  aerobatic aircraft is a two-seat all-metal low-wing monoplane with cleaner retractable main wheels and exposed tail wheel.The Yak-52 had exceptionally fine handling characteristics enhanced by a relatively high power to weight ratio. It was used as a military trainer by several countries in many different versions. Production has been restarted in Rumania with this modernized, tailwheel version. Source included. | FSX North American Aviation F-86 Sabre |
 This is an update for FSX Acceleration of the F86 hard wing (full vr) by Kirk Olsson. The author has redone the flight dynamics, changed the VC light, changed the smoke effect, and added or changed gauges as necessary. This aircraft has both 2D and virtual cockpits. This is the whole aircraft. The limited vr aircraft have been eliminated as they looked the same as the ones here but had a black rectangle where the gunsight is in the virtual cockpit.   It served up to WW2 even though totally obsolete. It had unusual looks and the copilot sat underneath the pilot in the gondola. This is a native FSX Acceleration project.  With the creation of the new Luftwaffe, a fast, light and economical multi-purpose aircraft was necessary for the satisfactory re-training of pilots for the faster combat planes and training as gunners, bombers and radio operators, and in 1934, Focke Wulf supplied the first prototype. | FSX Lockheed Vega Starliner |
 FSX 1932 Lockhee Vega Starliner by Rarewings.com: Designed with FSDS3.5.1 and FSDSTweak . It has full working virtual cockpit with back-lite gauges. Limited 2-D panel, custom sounds. The plane has reflective glass and metal textures. In the Mid 1930's the Menasco engine company began testing its Unitwin comprising of two 260hp C6S-4 six cylinder engines mounted close side-by-side driving a common gearbox for a single propeller. The Vega was to design an attractive small "feederline" transport around this double engine. The resulting Starliner had a mixed construction air-frame with a typical Lockheed tapered wing with split flaps, a side-door cabin a pilot and five passengers. In 1940 the project was abandoned, the Starliner was too small to appeal to the airlines, and too large for most private customers. Includes an alternate aircraft.cfg file that eliminates the black rectangle, but the cost is the loss of the slats. | FSX Viking DHC6-400 Twin Otter |
  The worldwide demand for refurbished Twin Otters is such that Viking Air have commenced manufacture of new aircraft in their plant in Calgary, using original DeHavilland jigs and tools. The new manufacture -400 model is externally identical to the -300 but has a Honeywell "glass cockpit" avionics suite. Freeware Honeywell gauges could not be found so Garmin avionics are used in this model. The launch customer is Zimex Aviation of Switzerland and first delivery is expected in September 2009.
