| FSX T-34 Mentor Turbo |
 This is Alpha Sim's freeware release of its Beechcraft T34 Turbo Mentor updated for FSX. The T-34 Mentor began as a private venture designed by Walter Beech shortly after WW II. Beech felt that there was a market for a military trainer based on the Model 35 Bonanza which had been flying for about a year. Beech used the Bonanza as a starting point and began work on the design of the Model 45. The first two prototypes were powered by 205 hp Continental engines while the third had a more powerful 225 horsepower engine. The prototype made its first flight Dec. 2, 1948. | FS2004/FSX Spitfire MK 1A |
 The first production Spitfire, the Mk I was powered by a Merlin III giving 1030 hp and a maximum speed of 367 mph. This is the mark that mostly fought in the Battle of Britain. It entered service in 1938 with 19 and 66 Squadrons. In all some 1566 Mk I Spitfires were produced. This Supermarine Spitfire Mk IA, JZ-E (AR213), 57 OTU, RAF, was flown by F/O J. H. | FSX Curtiss SOC-3 Seagull |
 The Seagull served as a catapult launched scout for battleships and cruisers from the late 1930's well into WW2. This is an FSX Acceleration native project. It includes the usual animations, reflective glass, bump maps and .dds textures. It is painted for squadron VO-3 assigned to the USS Idaho. The VC has animated flight controls and working gauges. | FSX Jetfoil Update |
 This is an update for FSX of the Jetfoil by Mitsuya Hamaguchi. The author has deleted the wheels, added a scrape point, changed the other scrape points positions, added or changed some gauges to the panel, added two VC lights, and added some spray effects. It works properly in FSX without Acceleration or the service packs, but with Acceleration stays up on the foils once it goes fast enough to activate them. | FSX North American F-107 Ultra Sabre |
  This is AlphaSim's freeware release of the F-107 Ultra Sabre updated for FSX. The F-107A was originally designed as a tactical fighter-bomber version of the F-100, with a recessed weapon bay under the fuselage. However, extensive design changes resulted in its change from F-100B to F-107A before the first prototype flew on June 11, 1954. This repaint shows what the aircraft might have looked like in a active fighter squadron in the 1960's. Only three were built and the aircraft never went into production.
