 FS2004/FSX Gloster Gamecock fighter. The Gamecock was an improved Grebe single-seat fighter to Specification 37/23 and intended to be powered by the 425 hp Jupiter VI nine-cylinder radial engine. It was of wooden construction with fabric skinning and retained the then standard armament of two synchronised 7.7 mm Vickers guns.   FSX North Korean MiG-15 768. A modified version of the MiG 15 model by Jean-Pierre Langer, Jean-Pierre Bourgeois and Benoit M. Dube for Flight Simulator X. This aircraft, MiG-15bis N0 0715368 "768" flown by Polkovnik Yevgeny Pepelyayev on May 20, 1951, when he shot up the F-86A BuNo49-1080 of 1st Lt. Milton Nelson (335th FIS) for his first aerial victory. The "768" was a temporal assignment until his definitive aircraft the MiG-15 bis "325" was ready. Package includes pictures and history. | FSX McDonnell FH-1 Phantom |
  FSX McDonnell FH-1 Phantom. The FH-1 Phantom was one of the first US Navy carrier based jets. Only about 60 were produced as it suffered from lack of power from the early axial flow jet engines. This is an FSX native project compiled with Xtomdl SP2. It has the usual animations plus folding wings and operating tailhook. The single landing light is controlled by tailhook position thanks to a XML gauge created by Rob Barendregt. It has reflective glass, bump maps and .dds textures. The fastest version of the Thunderbolt was the XP-47J, which was proposed in November 1942 as a lighter-weight version of the Thunderbolt designed to explore the outer limits of the design's basic performance envelope.
