  L ' X3 uses a cell of helicopter Eurocopter Dauphin equipped with a main rotor for five pales drawn away by two turbines and of two aircraft propellers taken up on short fixed wings. This hybrid shape gives birth to an apparatus of advanced transport which conjugates the speed of a plane with turboprop engine and the capacities of stationary flight of a helicopter. In cruise, wings take the intermediary of the main rotor for the lift. The rotor adopts a "flat" contour, where trail is trifling. Potency is then transferred towards aircraft propellers. It is about a button of trim electrical which augments the step of aircraft propellers and therefore the potency which they provide.  This Luftwaffe Junkers Ju.52/3m g5e served in the Balkans with 2 Staffel, I KGzbV, in early 1941. This version was an improvement upon the Junkers Ju 52/3m g4e. It had more comprehensive radio equipment, a de-icing system that used the exhaust, provision for an interchangeable wheel ski or float landing gear, and an uprated powerplant: three BMW 132T-2 radials, rated at 830 hp (619 kW). Number built: unknown out of a total of 5415 in 15 versions. This plane is fully animated: cockpit, landing gear, surface controls and fuselage doors.   The XF-103 was developed as a high-speed high-altitude aircraft specifically designed to intercept incoming enemy bombers. The XF-103 was proposed in the same contract competition that resulted in the Convair F-102--Project MX-1554 Interceptor Fighter Airplane. The Republic design, Model AP-57, underwent a design performance evaluation conducted by the Air Material Command (AMC). The results showed an estimated top speed of 1438 knots.   The A5 is a high-wing flying boat-type amphibious monoplane with a carbon fiber airframe and retractable undercarriage. It seats two people in an enclosed cockpit and is powered by a single 100 hp (75 kW) Rotax 912 ULS engine driving a three-bladed pusher propeller. Dornier-style sponsons provide hydrodynamic stability, housing the retracted main landing gear, and act as a step for crew and passenger.With water take-offs you're not usually forced to decide on a runway heading, which can make it easy to forget to take wind direction into account. Make sure you're not taking off with a tailwind. Push the throttle gradually and try to keep the wings horizontal by using the aileron trim (keys 8, 9 and 0). Once you exceed 60 knots, pull the stick back. Try to reduce the height of the waves if you don't succeed. Another thing you can try is a no-flaps takeoff to decrease drag and improve acceleration. Once you've picked up some speed, drop the flaps. The extra lift should pop you into the air. Also there is no HSI / attitude indicator, no turn cordinator, and of course no IFR with this aircraft! 3 mb |
