I hope i am right here...
On my FSX i have a special effect. But i dont like it!
This is shown on downloaded FSX airplanes.
Bevor 5:50 and after 20:25 Local Time on FSX the textures on this
airplanes appears correctly in the plane outside view.
From 5:50 to 20:20 no textures appears on airplane ??
From the tower view in a distance from 5 miles the texture
everytime appears correctly.
5:50 from tower view
5:50 outside the plane view
6:10 from tower view
6:10 outside the plane view
20:20 from tower view
20:20 outside the plane view
20:25 from tower view
20:25 outside the plane view
This is a very special effect. This effect i have on all downloaded
FSX planes. Not on the default FSX planes.
My home airport LOWK (LOWK_2007 by gianni) for FS 2004
appears correctly with textures.
12:00 airport view
12:00 from tower view
12:00 outside the plane view
Yes i have testest all possible changes on the display panel from SFX.
I have also tested with different bitdeep on textures.
I can found the reason why....
If anyone have an idea about this effect please tell me

fsx version with service pack? xp or window vista? and the problem do not appear with default aircraft?really a strange problem especially because at some hours appears and some not. I ll try to investigate on |

Windows XP Pro SP2
PC P4 2,4GHZ 750MB - NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440 (newest drivers).
# X-Plane v8.60 also installed. Running better - no problems.
Orginal FSX 10.0.60905.0 DeLuxe Edition - Installed SDK
NOT any SP installed.
I have the nowing problem - the FSX want install correctly from the DVDs. not any support about this from my dealer or MS.
The FSX installation was only possible with an ? illegal crack !!!.
On this installation is NOT possible to update with any SP!
(i now - update only to an orginal state installation of FSX)

All default (orginal) flightvehicles textures OK.
Some downloaded FS9 & FSX vehicles have the texture problem. Some not. I can find the different in the files.
GMAX As350 Ecureuil Heli for FS2004 / FS9 no problem.
Hughes OH-6A fom Glen Garden for FSX - texture appears only about 50ft over ground.
All downloaded heavy planes - no texture....
Now i will search a FSX airplane design software to resave the planes in FSX format.
Have you any other idea

tje geforce 440 is a little bit old and this could be the problem with textures but the fact that happens at some hours and some not it is really strange as the impossibility to install sp1 and sp2, seems something wrong into your system. Catch the real problem is not easy i know , hoping someone that had this problem can help you better than me.
