Welcome on Simnetwork, install an aircraft into fsx its easy:
Aircrafts are placed into FSX or Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes.
When you install a new aircraft you have to install it there.
Each aircraft inside Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes usually has a main folder, example Grumman_Goose_G21A
Inside this folder ,to have a working functional aircraft, you need 4 folders named:
model
panel
sound
texture
always inside the main aircraft folder, in this case Grumman_Goose_G21A, there are some files
aircraft.cfg
Grumman_Goose_G21A.air
without those folders and files aircraft will not display inside FSX.
Aircraft.cfg its essential to set how aircraft flies, lands, etc but obviously you need to be an expert to modify those settings, so leave this files as it is.
Important. if the panel folder do not have a bmp image it MUST point to the panel folder of another aircraft.
Example of panel.cfg pointing to another panel folder
[fltsim]
alias=B737_800\panel
to add more textures to an existing aircraft, you have to add the new texture folder (obviously named with another name)into the main aircraft folder.
model
panel
sound
texture
texture.2
then you will have to copy the first lines into aircraft.cfg settings and copy after all the lines of [fltsim.0] leaving a space between eachone
[fltsim.0]
title=Boeing 737-800 Paint1
sim=Boeing737-800
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1
copy and after this paste and modify renaming texture=1 to texture=2, and change also the title's line
[fltsim.0]
title=Boeing 737-800 Paint1
sim=Boeing737-800
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=2
It will looks as this
[fltsim.0]
title=Boeing 737-800 Paint1
sim=Boeing737-800
model=
panel=
sound=
texture=1

to show the new texture thumbnail on the main list aircraft you have to add, inside the new texture folder, a file called thumbnail.jpg with the image file of the new texture. You can use a snapshot program downloadable into our fsx utilities section and resize the image with an editor as picasa http://picasa.google.com/ , search in google it's free.
i hope this can help you.
