Hello,
Can somebody explain how to setup downloaded FSX missions?
None of them can be installed properly as explained in their respective "readmefirst" textfiles!
Be more precise when submitting addons, please!

Yes, of course!
Let's consider the "Monks to go" mission, for example.
In the downloaded program's zipped readme file we can read :

MONKS TO GO READ ME FIRST

1) Place .bgl file in your FSX addon scenery/scenery Directory
2) place the Plan File PLN in your FSX Flights Directory
2) Read Adventure Instructions carefully
3) After all files have been installed you are ready to fly the adventure.

First, it has not been specified where to extract.
I presume it should be placed to
X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Missions folder, since other missions use this very same setup procedure.
Even extract to
X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X
or into
X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Missions folder.

When done so and after the given instructions followed the new mission does NOT appear amongst the missions list.
Unfortunately other downloaded missions, such as "eculake" behave exactly the same manner. No way to get started even if the zipped file is extracted in Microsoft Flight Simulator X 's root folder.
Whilest with other addon missions, like "Argentine Ski Trip" or "OregonAblaze", among others, this setup sequence works fine.
So what goes wrong then ???
