I want to see the airplane from the ground when it lands, like from the start of the runway or something. I've seen many youtube-videos when they use this and i guess they're using "Dbs walk and follow". My question is that if there's anyway to get a simple camera as this for free? In FS2004 i you could "move" the tower****era in "MAPS" in the game, but not in FSX

How exactly can you setup a runway view?

The default Facilities Runway view padlocks the selected runway in the VC. Personally I don't see the purpose of this view, so basically I reversed it (Although it wasn't as easy as that.) Now the view origin is the Runway and it tracks the aircraft. You can also set it not to track by changing the Track statement to Track = None. This is useful if you want to watch AI Traffic. To set this up, replace the 9th entry of the ****eras.cfg file to this.

{****eraDefinition.009} <<<--Change to Square Brackets
Title = Facilities Runway
Guid = {607C4520-CA6F-4135-AE10-8BF28838068F}
Description = This is the description of the runway view.

InstancedBased = Yes
SnapPbhAdjust = Swivel
SnapPbhReturn = False
PanPbhAdjust = Swivel
PanPbhReturn = False

InitialZoom = 1.0
SmoothZoomTime = 2.0
ShowWeather = Yes
