My computer is an intel 3.4 with 2gb of ram and a GeForce 7800 card with 512mg memory. I am now running FSX on my XP Pro system and it runs OK, around 15fps. I am thinking of doing a reformat and installing Vista Home. Does anyone know if FXS will run better on Vista?. I know some people installed the new OS today and I am interested in hearing about their Vista experience.
Thanks,

I am waiting several months, maybe over a year for Vista, DX-10, DX-10 compatible vid cards, and all of the MSFSX patches to reach some sort of stablization before I purchase a new computer for FSX. By that time Intel will be coming out with their new 45NM processor.

I know that "things" never really stabilize and comp gaming/hardware is dynamic and fluid but I do want to wait until "things" stabilize a bit.

As far as I know yes, it says on my box that it works best with vista. The only problem is the OS eats up so many resources that there will be barely any for FSX.
