My interest is in the classical era planes They don't work in FSX. Most problems concern instruments but there are texture problems too.

I have purchased a program that purports to migrate FS9, and other aircraft, to FSX. So far I can't get it to work.

What is the program you have, I have not heard of such a program and would be interested in checking it out.

FS9 to FSX Migrate by Georges Vinet is shown. There is a link to buy the download at flightsim's store for all of $12.99. i have found that most stuff done in fsds2.xx will render in FSX

I have had some success with some, not all, fs9 aircraft into fsx. First, fsx stores it's aircraft info in a different subdirectory /fsx/simobjects/aircraft. so I move the aircraft files into this subdirectory, then I copy gauges into /fsx/gauges and effects into /fsx/effects. Not some aircraft show up in the aircraft selection, some with picture Id's and some with a blank picture but the name of the aircraft is there. I have had success with for example B-52 models from fs9 and many other military aircraft. although i had some show up, but when i selected them i had errors loading gauges, so i just removed them. I also have some aircraft using the method above and they do not show up at all, not sure why. Hope this helps.
