Encountered something interesting yesterday and wanted to see if anyone noticed this or knows anything about it....

Anyway, I was doing some mulitplayer flying in FSX with a friend yesterday (Gamespy sucks) and we both noticed that FSX had "dumbed down" our graphics settings. I have a mid-high system and he has a high-end system (he was hosting BTW) and we can both run FSX pretty good with the graphics turned up a bit. Well on our multiplayer flight we both noticed we lost a lot of our graphics...like for example we landed at KSEA (SeaTac Intl) after a flight from Vanncover B.C. and both of us had no jetways, no carts, no traffic, no nothing....the City of Seattle looked like crap flying in also. In single player we have everything and in mulitplayer...just the basics.

Does FSX dumb down your graphics to take in the internet connection or something for mulitplayer games?

FSX obviously does exactly the same as FS9 .... and cuts out all AI etc when flying MP sessions. Nothing new and rather sensible if you ask me.
