Sometimes you try to use old FS-models in FSX succesfully with the exception oft working props. If there are no prop-textures you can’t exchange it with Acceleration-props. What now?
If you have a Hex-editor you just have to open the MDL. Now make a search for “prop”. I am sure you will find a NameXprop like “acpropmesh.bmp”. Now you know the name of the required prop-texture, which maybe is not needed for FS2004 or older simulators. Now copy and paste a FSX-compatible prop-texture into the texture of your airplane and rename it regarding the name you’ve found with the Hex-editor. That’s it!
