Leading video games developer and publisher NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. announced today that Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation has gone gold for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft. Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation redefines the flight-action genre with photorealistic licensed aircraft, adrenaline fueled aerial battles, four unique online multiplayer modes and a gripping storyline.

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation gives players a whole new level of control and immersion with the brand new Allied Support and Dynamic Operations Systems. The Allied Support System lets players call in reinforcements from various land, sea and air combat forces to thin out the enemy invasion and turn the tides of battle. Massive conflicts unfold on a "living battlefield" integrated by the Dynamic Operation System, where up to six independent aerial, ground, and naval battles can simultaneously erupt at multiple locations as allies and enemies clash in real-time.

Also for the first time in the Ace Combat franchise, players will be able take their planes online via Xbox Live and compete in adversarial and team-based dogfights. Up to 16 players will be able to streak across the sky, fighting each other high above cities and deep within canyons as they battle others from around the world in intense and strategic online match-ups. Defeat the enemy in Battle Royale and Team Battle modes, attack and defend strategic locations in Siege Battle, or join up with friends in Cooperative mode.

Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation ships exclusively for the Xbox 360 on October 23, 2007 for a suggested retail price of $59.99. Launching on the same day, the limited edition Ace Combat 6 ACE-EDGE Flightstick Bundle carries a retail price of $149.99. A single player demo version of Ace Combat 6 is now available for download from Xbox Live.
